Monday - Introduce the elements of a short story - characters, setting, plot, conflict, theme, and point of view.  Discuss the sequence of events in a story using the plot pyramid.  Writing - Review the writing process and reasons for writing.  After completing a pre-write for the personal narrative: the most memorable experience in their lives, begin writing rough draft.
